About this speaker
My research focuses on epidemiological and evolutionary implications of micro-parasite (viruses, bacteria and pathogenic unicellular eucaryotes) polymorphism as well as on integrating the multiplicity of spatio-temporal scales in the fundamental study of infectious diseases. My work rely on various modelling approaches aligned along three axes: within-host microbial ecology, epidemiological dynamics and virulence evolution. In particular, I worked on Ebolavirus (EBOV), human papillomavirus (HPV), multipartite virus and antibiotic resistance.
